I was a little busy over the weekend!
I went to my parents on Saturday and I only came back Yesterday!
Not much blogging could get done considering I was loving the whole spending time with family thing!
Anyway, am back...
On that note, not much crocheting has been going down over the past week but I still have something to share with you.
{Oh and by the way, I went home with my cute little crochet purse and my mum was so jealous, she pulled out her hook and yarn and started making her own.Feels good to be an inspiration. By the way, she is so gooood}
I have been thinking about organizing my crochet hooks and supplies considering that they can get a little messy all over the house. Knitters and crocheters know what I mean. Once you pull that yarn and the other, and thus hook and the other, and then the thread and needle, it can get pretty messy.
So, I decided to make a small basket for my hooks and needles and some yarn.
I love it already and has been a huge help. Am even thinking of making a bigger one as soon as I get some beautiful yarn.
Really cute crochet basket. I have to try to make one...
ReplyDeleteYou are awesome with yarn, am sure you can whip one up really fast!
Deletei love how the basket is the same color as the yarn in it! i haven't made a basket for myself, but i do use one. it is so nice to have everything in one place. :)

The basket came out beautifully. If you're not on Ravelry, you should definitely consider it. Lots of ideas all in one location. Soon you will have a yarn addiction. Trust me. One time it got to the point where (and kind of still is) where when people try to get gifts for me, I much prefer the raw material to make things. So I gladly welcome fabrics, sewing notions, yarn, etc. Makes me smile. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love the yarn you chose! All my favorite colors. And that is one very handy basket. It could even be used in decorations! Thanks for sharing at Hookin On Hump Day!
ReplyDeleteWhere did you buy your crotchet needles?
